Ainsley has just been so much fun these last couple of weeks. She is playing more and gets more interactive each day. She has discovered sucking on her fingers now and prefers that instead of her pacifier most of the time. She fell asleep with them in her mouth in the car! She enjoyed a play date with her friend Kendall this past week and the two of them had a good time making noises back and forth and staring at each other. They will be a hand full when both of them are toddlers!
Ainsley is doing very well at school too. She is eating well consistently now (before she would only take part of her bottle), napping well and has even found herself a little boyfriend named Jackson. She is quickly becoming a favorite amongst the girls that work there because she is so laid back and loves to smile.
Ainsley has also rolled over--the other night she rolled from her tummy to her back. I tried to get it on camera after she did it once, but she didn't want to cooperate. I will keep trying and hopefully can post some more video soon.
Here are some recent pictures.

Saying Mom
Ainsley was very chatty the other morning on her changing table and started talking to us. She said mom for the first time even though she doesn't really know what she's saying yet. It was so cute we just had to get it on camera. Getting it on camera was way easier than getting it to upload to this blog!!

Talking to Mom and Dad
Ainsley decided she wanted to chat when we were getting her dressed on a Saturday morning. She is "talking" much more now that she spends the day hearing other babies at school talking too.

Pictures with the new camera
Snoozing in her car seat in her little teddy bear suit on after doing some shopping with Dad.
Snug as a bug sleeping in her papasan seat.
Nick was playing with our new camera and some of the color accent features. He got her this little teddy bear for Valentine's day and the picture turned out beautifully.
Nick playing with the color accent feature again. Ainsley is all swaddled up in her crib and ready for bed.
Smiling after waking up on Saturday morning. Our favorite thing is to bend over the crib and see her bright eyes and smile....and messed up hair!

Taking a close up and playing with the color effects....again. She was a good sport with all our picture taking, but it wore her out!
Taking some pictures with one of my Valentine's day roses. After a while she decided that the rose might taste good so then we had to stop :)

Look at me standing up like a big girl....with mom's help.

Hanging out with mom. This was towards the end of the picture taking so she was losing focus! Nick was playing with the color effects again.......

First Day of "School"
Today was Ainsley's first day at day care or "school" as they call it. She seemed to do pretty well--I think she did better with it than I did! She took a little nap in the morning in the swing and even napped in her crib there for a little bit in the afternoon which is surprising since she was in a brand new place. The girls there said she loves her mobile on her crib as well. We picked her up early because Nick got an early out due to the weather. She has been zonked this evening and has been napping for quite a while now. She is probably processing all the new sights and sounds she took in today. She is a pretty social baby so I think she will enjoy school as she gets a little older. I am just glad I didn't have to drop her off in the morning--I made Nick do it!
