I am One!!!

I celebrated my first birthday on November 4th. Mommy and Daddy say that was election day too and national history also happened on my first birthday. I am not sure what they mean, but they were talking about some Obama guy. Who cares about that guy?---it was my birthday!!! To start the day, I got to ride in my car seat facing forward like a big girl. It was so much fun that I looked around, kicked my legs, and was excited all the way to day care! That night Mommy and Daddy took me out to eat at my favorite restaurant for cheese quesadillas, guacamole, and ice cream! Then we went to Build a Bear so I could choose and make my very own! We had a party the next weekend and lots of my friends and family came to help me celebrate. I had fun opening gifts, playing with new toys, playing with my friends and eating cake and ice cream. I think Mommy and Daddy really wanted to see me make a mess of my cake, but I didn't feel the need to do that. It tasted yummy though! I sure was tired when everyone left and I think Mommy and Daddy were too. Here are some pictures from my birthday festivities. Thanks to everyone for helping make my first birthday special!

Halloween and Hay Rack Ride

Here are a few pictures from Ainsley's first Halloween. She had a good time although was a little bit worn out before we dressed her up and dragged her to our friends' houses so it was a quick visit at each place! What better thing for our "pumpkin" to be than a pumpkin for Halloween. As you can see in the picture below she also gets quite excited about pumpkins!

This hat did not stay on for very long!

Can you tell she's kind of tired by this point? She had a good time though and liked visiting everyone! She was especially excited that our friends Eric and Kristen were handing out Teddy Grahams and she can eat those!!

Ainsley and I with Amy, Kendall, Angela and William

Love the funny hats, but I'm not so sure the kids do :)

Looking like the Michelin baby here! Have to stay toasty!

Checking out the hay

Runny nosed and excited :)

Everyone enjoyed a fun and relaxing hay rack ride and the babies were worn out and ready for bed when it was done!
