6 Months!

Ainsley will turn 6 months tomorrow. It seems like the time has just flown by. Today we went and got her pictures taken for the occasion. After three different outfits, a lot of flashing and lots of people trying to get her to smile big she was wiped out! They turned out really well. Here are some new pictures we have taken over the last couple of weeks.

Ainsley was all loaded up in her car seat and ready for a ride the other day. It was cold so her hood was up and blanket on. It needs to get warm fast....she is getting too big for all of her long sleeved things!

Playing with her blocks on the floor and smiling at Dad in her new sun hat. This was before I washed and dried it and it shrunk! It still fits her though.....

Getting ready to chew on one of the stuffed blocks. Everything goes in her mouth these days....those blocks are just a little too big. She tries though!

Scowling during her dinner the other night. She was tired and ready for her bath. She thought it was funny to furrow her eyebrows at me so I did the same thing back to her, then she would smile.

Playing with her teddy bear in her nursery. We were going to have her wear this dress for her 6 months pictures, but when we tried it on this morning it was a little tight over her big belly and barely covered her butt! She grows SO fast.

Modeling the shades she got from her grandma Lilli. Those make for some good pictures! She is set for summer!

Sitting Up!

Ainsley is getting better at sitting up on her own. I still put the Boppy pillow around her since she's a little wobbly sometimes, but she seems to get stronger each day! She had great time today sitting and playing.

More Firsts....

Here are a few new pictures taken yesterday and today. This was Ainsley's first time sitting in her high chair to eat. Of course the picture was taken before she got her face all covered with food (see post further down for illustration of face covered with food).

Today it was also nice enough for me to take Ainsley for her first stroller ride outside. She was sitting in the stroller like a big girl for the first time instead of being in her car seat snapped in to the stroller. She had quite the time looking at the toy I attached to her stroller and looking around outside. I think she is going to love the nice, warm weather. We will be taking many walks outside together!
