All Toddler!

Here are just some random pictures from the last few weeks. Ainsly is in full toddler mode now getting in to everything, saying more words, getting better with her sippy cup instead of the bottle.....she really is a lot of fun....except for when she's trying to get in to trouble!

Checking out the view from Nick's desk when we went to the Middle School to see Santa!
Hey....she looks familiar!
Hello??

So Ainsley was NOT a fan of me passing her off to some strange Santa. She looked at me, fussed and then got handed right back! I was not surprised! She was more than content to just look at Santa and his beard from afar!

Ainsley went right up to the front of the group of kids when it was Christmas story time. She wanted to help turn the pages in the book I think! That is her favorite thing when we read to her.

Running to Daddy!

Perched up on the new couch! It is Ainsley approved and leather also so now if she spills all over it we can just wipe it up!

Checking out the Christmas tree. We usually say "no touch" a lot around our house and she's pretty good about it, but we made an exception to the rule so we could get a few pictures and quench her curiosity.

Hmmmm...this one looks good!

For all the Hawkeye fans out there it just so happens our Hawkeyes ornament made it front and center for these pictures!

Being a goof ball!

13 Months Old and Cruising Now!

Ainsley will be 13 months old tomorrow! Oh, how time flies! Here are some miscellaneous pictures from the last month. Ainsley is now walking and has become pretty good at it over the last 1-2 weeks especially. She keeps us on our toes and gives us house "tours" each evening. She is talking and understanding a lot more as well. She says "Momma", "Dadda", "ball", "hi" and we've heard "Bye-bye" a couple of times. She has also started to pick up the signing more now too and has been doing the "more" sign quite a bit when eating. She decided whole milk is yummy, but we are still working on the sippy cup. Mostly she thinks it's fun to throw it on the floor, but she's getting better with it! I am hopeful she won't be going to preschool with her bottle! :) Ainsley had a great time at Thanksgiving getting to see her grandparents, great grandma and more extended family. She especially enjoyed the kittens out on the farm at Grandpa and Grandma Proud's and Great Grandma Miller's house. She was SO excited each time we went outside and the kittens are so tame and friendly now that they came right up to her. Needless to say after all the festivities of the holiday weekend, Ainsley was exhausted and slept the whole way home and took some good naps the next day to catch up! We decorated the house for Christmas the next day and she LOVES the Christmas tree. Luckily she hasn't tried to take it down.....yet. She just looks at the sparkley ornaments and lights with awe.

Playing with her buddy William. William is turning one very, very soon!

Ainsley found my Uggs one night so we put them on her and she thought they were great fun. She has her own little boots too only they are pink and they aren't "real" Uggs. Actually.....neither are mine! Still nice and toasty though!

Oops! She got a hold of this one's ear briefly! It was OK though....didn't bother the kitten one bit!
