Trip to Amana Colonies

The three of us decided to take a little trip to the Amana Colonies the first weekend in May for their May Fest. We had a great time. There was a parade (think Dutch Days only German instead) and Ainsley loved the horses, the marching bands and of course the candy that got thrown. We enjoyed some shopping there and Ainsley got to pet some baby chicks and bunnies. The weather was perfect and we couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable Saturday.

Ainsley was quite amused by the baby chicks.

What are you doing Dad?

Chillin' on the park bench.

Strolling with Daddy.

We grabbed a quick lunch---of course you have to have a brat when you are in Amana.

Mmmmmm.....sucker.

Parade watching with Daddy and Mommy.

Nick got me some flowers for Mother's Day and Ainsley had fun playing with one of the daisies.

Say Cheese!

Easter Pictures

Here are some pictures from Easter. We had a great day. Ainsley got up and played with her Easter basket and goodies inside. She was especially excited to find little cookies inside the eggs and of course she loves playing with the plastic grass. I am still picking up pieces off the carpet!
We all went to church and then Ainsley got to entertain both sets of grandparents and great-grandma Lita too! She looked so cute in her little dress and was amused by the fact that her dress shoes made more noise on the wood floors than her regular shoes. Enjoy!

Whoo hoo! Mess for Mommy to pick up!

Testing out her new Mickey Mouse chair!

Anxious to check out her new puzzle.

Family picture....Ainsley was not so interested in smiling for the camera!

Goof

Ainsley always sticks her tongue out like this when she's focusing on something.

Play Date!

Ainsley and her buddy William had a play date this past weekend. They had a good time playing together outside, laughing and chasing each other. It is so fun to watch the two of them play. Here is a little video of Ainsley giving him a hug which, to her, means tackling. It was pretty funny.
